Summer Music Course
June 8th - August 14th | $200*
OVERVIEW
8 weeks of interactive online instruction over a 10 week span. You choose which two weeks to skip (for camping, fishing, or any other fun adventures)! This is a fun hybrid of private coaching and a “summer music camp”. Students are grouped into one of four classes based on skill level, and every student will receive one-on-one video coaching with the instructor each week.
WEEKLY INSTRUCTION
- Day 1: Students receive one or more video tutorials with that week’s lesson content that can be watched and rewatched as needed, and a few activities to reinforce the lesson. Students use the given resources to guide their practicing through the week. Students are welcome to reach out with questions at any time.
- Day 6 (or earlier!): Students submit the required assignments, which may include video of themselves playing their assignment, photos of completed worksheets, or written responses to questions.
- Day 7: Student and teacher meet one-on-one for a brief video call to discuss that week’s music in real time and prepare for the week ahead.
STUDENTS WILL NEED ACCESS TO:
- An instrument in good working order
- Reliable internet
- Computer or mobile device
- Printer
CURRICULUM
- A hybrid approach between piano fundamentals and Pop Technique, which are the skills students need to play everything from pop, rock, Disney, and more!
- Students will be allowed and encouraged to work independently on songs of their own choosing in addition to core curriculum. Students may request feedback on supplemental songs during their video calls with the teacher

- Please note that this deposit is made with the clear understanding that although it is highly likely we will return to some form of in-person lessons in the Fall, it is not a guarantee. We will monitor local health circumstances and make a final decision in August.
